On May 23, CIMC held a supplier summit in Chongqing. Nearly 170 leaders and representatives of various enterprises attended the summit, including Huang Tianhua, Vice President of CIMC.

After the container industry experienced a historical growth in demand for containers and hence a shortage in container supply, the industry will face huge challenges in 2022 such as slow economic growth, less demand for new container, and increase number of empty container returns. CIMC and its partners have deepened collaboration to face the situation together.

The theme of the summit is “Cultivate new opportunities through collaboration and determination to create a win-win future”, and it is categorized into three sub-themes: “new normal”, “new concept”, and “new opportunities”. The entire summit is designed to let suppliers learn something new and experience something new.

In order to thank all partners for their hard work, CIMC sets a benchmark for excellent partners to strengthen its supply chain. After multiple rounds of selection, suppliers with excellent overall performance in 2022 were chosen. Huang Tianhua, Vice President of CIMC Group, presented awards to outstanding suppliers. MEGA P&C is honoured to be chosen as the Excellent Supplier 2022, and Ms. Wong Yin Yee, the chairman of MEGA P&C, was on site to accept the honour. MEGA P&C is committed to work closely with CIMC to create a new future together.
